Hermes Local Assistant is a personal, local-first assistant operated by John Scott. It uses Google OAuth only when John explicitly connects a Google account so that requested Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets and Contacts functions can run.

Google user data is used only to perform the account owner's requested actions. It is not sold, used for advertising or shared with third parties except where required to provide the requested Google service.

Authentication credentials and retrieved content are intended to remain on the owner's devices and are not published on this website or committed to public repositories.

Google access can be revoked at any time through the connected Google account's security settings.
